Recebemos para testes um acessrio da Ultimate Ears, uma das marcas da Logitech voltada para caixas de som Bluetooth. Este o tpico produto que voc v, pensa um pouco e arremata: “eu no preciso disso, mas seria bom ter um”. E bem legal mesmo!

Logitech Power UP: design e acabamento

Trata-se de uma base carregadora sem fios chamada de Power Up, e compatvel com as caixas de som Boom 3, Megaboom 3, Blast e Megablast.

O produto no poderia ser mais simples, o que j um ponto positivo. A base circular, com 9 cm de dimetro e 1,2 cm de altura.

Na borda h um LED branco que pisca enquanto faz a carga da bateria da caixa de som e, quando termina de carregar, fica aceso continuamente para avisar que a bateria est cheia.

Em outra parte da borda, logicamente, h um conector micro USB para receber a energia de uma fonte qualquer. E para carregar a bateria de uma dessas caixas de som citadas, basta colocar o spaeaker em cima dessa base.

Logitech Power UP: tempo de carga e conexo

Nos testes, o tempo de carga levou foi o mesmo se a caixa tivesse sido carregada diretamente pelo conector USB. O segredo disso simples. Na verdade, a base desses speakers tm um pequeno cone de metal. E no centro dele, h uma borracha circular que separa esse cone e um contato bem pequeno. Portanto, esse conjunto forma uma tomada de forma diferente apenas. E a base tem os pinos para dar o contato eltrico nesse cone metlico das caixas. A foto abaixo ilustra muito bem isso.

Portanto, a conduo de energia eltrica se d por contato e no por induo, o que torna o tempo de carga igual ao carregador comum. Ento o que achei legal nesse produto para esses modelosde speakers de Logitech a praticidade e velocidade de carga.

A base tem design clean (quer mais clean do que uma base redonda toda branca?), ocupa pouco espao e pode ficar sempre em uma mesa. E, quando chegar da festa, basta colocar a caixa em cima dela para fazer a carga da bateria. Ela tambm faz esse processo enquanto o speaker est sendo utilizado.

Logitech Power UP: Consideraes

Essa base no vem com cabo e nem com fonte de alimentao. Como essas caixas de som da Logitech vem com cabo micro USB pode-se facilmente usar o cabo delas. E a fonte a que voc j usa para carreg-la.

Minha concluso que o produto legal sim, mas… poderia vir em junto com as caixas de som, no , Logitech? Claro, isso tem um custo, mas ele to simples, que poderia, ao menos, vir com os modelos mais caros como, por exemplo, a Megaboom, que j vem com fonte de alimentao e que pode ser ligada no Power Up.

Porque como eu disse: algo que no exatamente necessrio, mas seria legal ter um desses para que eu no precise ficar esticando ou procurando cabo USB toda hora que eu quiser carregar a bateria.

Mas, enfim, se voc tem uma dessas caixas da Logitech, est a um acessrio legal-nem-to-necessrio, mas que torna a experincia porttil muito mais prtica, confortvel e que funciona muito bem. O Power Up custa, em mdia, R$ 150, em pesquisas feitas em lojas online at a data deste review.
