E, at&eacute; o momento, nem as autoridades americanas nem as companhias a&eacute;reas divulgaram oficialmente a causa da paralisa&ccedil;&atilde;o. A suspeita &eacute; que o problema pode ter sido causado por dados defeituosos do GPS ou atualiza&ccedil;&atilde;o de software. N&atilde;o &eacute; que o sistema GPS tenha parado de funcionar, mas se o GPS de um avi&atilde;o falha, os pilotos s&atilde;o obrigados a confiar em sistemas mais antigos para voar.
